As great as an invention the internet is, it seems that its wonders are limited mostly to perusing social networking sites and downloading porn. Hopefully, our most recent update of the 10.Spot Webshop will remind you why you pay for internet access (or why you steal it from your neighbors). This is your chance to cop pieces from our "Champion Life" and "Rise of the 10th Brigade" collections that may have already blown out of your local retailer, such as the Classico Crewneck, Best in Show Cardigan , and the Woodlawn Button-Up. This will be the only Spring '08 update to the 10.Spot, and all of these pieces are carried in very limited quantities.
In party news, we're hitting up two stateside locales this week. For Chicago, we're helping Million Dollar Mano celebrate his birthday with St. Alfred (not to mention releasing an extra-limited tee for the event only).

This Thursday, April 17th, 10.Deep & St. Alfred present ONE THOUSAND STACKS, a birthday celebration for Windy City beatsmith Million Dollar Mano featuring performances by the Cool Kids, 4 Color Zack, Mic Terror, He Say She Say, and a slew of Chi-Town's finest. Hosted by Hollywood Holt and Skyler, the event also marks Mano's homecoming as MIA's tour DJ. ...And you thought we were done with Spring? The month of April brings us the "Rise of the 10th Brigade," our second delivery for Spring '08. An aggressive diversion from the high society references of our "Champion Life" offering, Delivery 2 acts as a further punch in the gut to the culture of privilege that we've already satirized. We're pleased to sponsor our friend BOOGIE'S reception for his second book at the powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn. We got together and created a limited kit to accompany the publication, for sale only at the opening event, and through the 10.Deep webshop. The kit includes a 10.Deep x BOOGIE tee (produced in a run of 100), as well as a limited fanzine we produced that includes some of BOOGIE's favorite photos that didn't make it into his self-titled book. It will be available on the 10.Spot on Monday, March 24th. It's here. The lookbook for our Spring 08 collection, "Blue Collar Blue Bloods," drops today. The first delivery, titled "Champion Life," references vintage Polo, collegiate culture, and the secret cliques of High Society. Additions to the line this season include new styles of denim, rubber-coated fabrics, and more technical outerwear. Our photoshoot features shots of the usual 10.Deep crew, along with Kidz in the Hall, German Nieves, and Jamal Smith, whom you might have seen in a video that's been making the rounds lately.
The Champion Life delivery hits stores March 19th. Keep checking the site and your local retailer for more information, and keep your eyes peeled for Delivery 2, "The Rise of the Tenth Brigade," to drop in the coming weeks.

Every February, we and a bunch of noteworthy (and not-so-noteworthy) brands travel to the West for the wonderland we call the Magic convention in Las Vegas. After the reign of terror on Melrose, we finally managed to stuff Murko back into a trunk for a return trip to good ol' NYC. The sample sale went off without a hitch out on the West, so we had to bring it back home, as well. In between the bi-coastal madness of the tradeshows, Murko, our derelict mascot, has managed to escape to LA, taking with him a truckload of 10.Deep merch. Unlucky for us, but lucky for you (at least you West Coasters). Supposedly he's unloading all of the goods for dirt cheap to help support his various vices. Apparently, he's also got some Crazy Gideon-like delusions of grandeur and is running commercials on late-night LA cable access channels. You can catch a glimpse of his television debut HERE.

Welcome back. Who is ready for Spring!?! It's a New Year, and already tradeshow season is upon us. We're previewing our upcoming collections at United here in NY, and then at Agenda in San Diego this week. Other than that, there's much to look forward to in 2008. We'll be updating the site (finally), introducing a few special projects for the year, and perhaps we'll even be opening our own shop here in NY (can't let the crews on Fairfax have all the fun). And oh yeah-- it looks like Murko will be setting up shop in LA next week. Keep checking the site for more info, and hide your wallets.

Tis the season! The abundance of portly bearded men wandering the streets, annoying, tinny versions of Christmas carols piped out of sub-par animatronic elves, empty sentimental greetings from faceless corporations... it's that time! The last year at the Deep has been hectic, full of early mornings and late nights, but it's also been one of growth, and 2008 promises to be an even bigger year for us.
That being said, we're taking some well-deserved time off from burning the candle at both ends. The office will be closed from December 24th to January 2nd, 2008. ORDERS PLACED TO THE 10.SPOT WEBSHOP WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND SHIPPED UNTIL JANUARY 2ND, 2008.
Finally, even though we're still recovering from last week's HOLIDAY SWEAT-OUT, we've still got it in us for one last hurrah. We're getting together with our good friends from The Rub to throw a loft party and disrupt your sleep schedules one last time for '07. The NY Winter has been pretty brutal thus far. Instead of huddling with your chums around that trashcan fire as usual, come join 10.Deep for a last hoo-rah before Baby New Year unloads his diaper. On Wednesday, December 12th, 10.Deep is joining forces with Fool's Gold Records to bring you the Sweat-Out, a holiday celebration set to cap off the new year with a bang. DJs A-Trak, Pase Rock, and Nick Catchdubs will be setting the tone with movement-inducing sounds to assure that you will have to wring your shirt out before the night's over. Guest hosts Chicago-stylista Kid Sister (peep her new video w/ Kanye: Pro Nails) and the incomparable Kid Cudi will help us sign off on '07 with their own brand of sonic stylings.

HOLIDAY 2007 PREVIEW EVENT.
The recent chill in the air and renewed relevance of the decorations that your neighbors haven't taken down since last year usually mark the coming of the Holiday season. It also marks the appearance of the 10.Deep Holiday Collection, which was on display at this season's preview event, held on November 16th at a secret Soho locale.
The Holiday '07 Preview Event was an invite-only affair, with invitations only going out to friends and family (and whichever stragglers happened to tag along with them). Guests were treated to a catered spread, good music (courtesy of Dr. Pete Leonard and Sinatra), Murko-shaped chocolates, and most importantly, a first look at the 10.Deep Holiday '07 Collection. Since many of you missed out, we've linked some photos here. Look closely, and you'll catch a few glimpses of the pieces to come.

We're creeping into November: leaves are falling, Dog the Bounty Hunter's dropping N-Bombs, and we've finished dropping our Fall '07 collection. The last (and one of the most coveted) pieces of the season, our Green River Plaid New Era Cap, hits stores this week. Find your size before it gets scooped, and take the opportunity to pick up any other items you may have missed out on from the Fall collection.

Usually, when you hear the phrase "Be Easy," it's usually coming from some jackass trying to calm you down or put you in your place. Not so different coming from us, either. We say this because Part 2 of the first 10.Deep Fall '07 delivery is in stores now, and it's time to clear up some closet space. If you see your local shopkeeper flashing a sly grin and rubbing his mitts together like a cartoon villain, it's probably because our Fall '07 Collection has started hitting stores. The product promises to move quickly out of the hands of your local retailers. Check your stores and official online retailers for availability this week or be prepared to chalk one up in the loss column. Official online drop is 12 PM (EST) on Tuesday, September 18th (that would be today, smart guy).
Remember, only a third of the Fall '07 collection has dropped thus far. There's still much more product to arrive in shops over the next few weeks, for those looking to redeem themselves.

SPRING 2007-LIVE LARGER GROUP PREVIEW.
The final installment of our Spring 2007 collection hits stores worldwide on Thursday, May 3rd. The largest delivery of the season, the "Live Larger" group embodies one of the brand's prominent mottos through the lens of Native American motifs and imagery.
A tightly-themed collection, the Live Larger product offering is comprised of new tee designs, caps, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, as well as the much-speculated "Last of a Dying Breed" New Era cap and the lightweight Sunburst nylon technical jacket.

Division Selects, or what we're calling DVSN, is being released in stores today. What is it? Specially designed, tightly distributed, very limited product. It's the "purple stuff" (only for this season) that you may have seen in some flics floating around the internet.
This time around, the collection is comprised of six styles, one unique to the group, while the other five are new colorways of select Spring '07 items. The next offering will feature styles all unique to the group. All that, and it's only available in 8 stores worldwide.

10.SPOT WEBSHOP UPDATE. The 10.Spot updates today at 1 PM (EST). This will most likely be your last chance to cop Fall '06 goods from Groups 1 & 2. Colors and sizes are extremely limited, and our guess is that the internet competition for these goods is going to be a little crazy. We're also limiting orders on hoodies to 1 piece per style. NOTE: IF YOU ATTEMPT TO ORDER MORE THAN 1 PIECE PER STYLE ON ANY HOODY, YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELED, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. We know the resale market is going to exist regardless, but it's the least we can do to make sure some folks can get a fair shot on product this season.

BREATHER... We've finally reduced the mountain range of boxes in the office to a mere... mountain. The Mighty 10.Deep shipping crew has been shipping 24-7 for almost a month now, which has left us with little time for website updates. But, as we said, there's still a ton of boxes left here that comprise the third and final group of 10.Deep's Fall '06 season. Jeans, hats (including the infamous King Tut New Era), new tee styles, and the highly-anticipated Chameleon Jackets... there's still a lot you all have not yet seen. We've given you the first sneak peek off to the left, and we'll give you a little more when we begin shipping at the end of next week. Finally, in yet another eBay update, the Deep managed to get its hands on one of the suspicious Chain Gang Hoodies that began cropping up a few weeks ago. Surprise, surprise... they're fakes, of far inferior quality than anything we'd ever release to the market. And it turns out there are some New Era counterfeits floating around out there as well. We'd like to remind you all to use discretion when purchasing from resellers, especially those based out of Asia and Australia. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

FALL '06 IN STORES NOW. No Hypebeast alert necessary. We quietly released the first (of three) shipments over the weekend, and early word is that NYC is selling through everything. West Coast accounts will be receiving goods toward the end of the week. As we've stated before, Fall '06 is by far the largest collection we've ever released in our 11-year history, and so we're breaking it up into 3 deliveries over the next month. We won't spoil it all for you here, but highlights to look for from the first group include our new Deep Dots Hoody, the Yacht Master Hoody (cousin to the New Deck City that sold like crazy last season), and four new tee styles. Groups 2 & 3 include items some of you may have seen (King Tut New Eras and Crack! aka Comic Sound Hoodies). There's something for everyone here, but act quickly, as the goods are moving fast.

EBAY ALERT! Yikes! We've been getting a lot of e-mails asking about possible fake Chain-Gang hoodies being sold on eBay. We've been telling you all that they were real, but upon further investigation, we have found that they are not. Do not purchase sweatshirts from eBayers who are shipping from Australia or Hong Kong, we promise you the product they sell is fake. So far they've only had access to the White hoodies from this past Spring, but after looking at the sellers' history we found that they made one purchase in the past few weeks, and that was for a red Chain Gang hoody. We can only guess which colorway they'll be making available next.
So again, if you're looking for Chain Gang hoodies on ebay, don't bother purchasing anything coming from Hong Kong or Australia-- they're likely to be fakes. And for those of you who have bothered to look for resales of our product at all, thanks for the support.

We BACK!!! We just did a 2-week tour of the apparel shows and the West Coast. Magic was a mad house, Agenda in San Diego was a bit more chilled out... until things went ballistic at the party we threw with Crooks. But whatever, no one we knew was badly hurt, so we finished our drinks and headed home. Oh yeah, and A-Trak killed it.
Fall '06 has been filing in and Pre-Fall (for those who missed out on the Chain Gangs when we first released them) is on its way out the door. Folks have been asking about the Chain Gang Hoody, one of the centerpieces to our Spring '06 Collection (pictured to the left). In response to growing demand, we've decided to hold a few for Internet presales. We'll be shipping these pieces to stores and presale customers starting April 5th. To put yourself on the presale list, e-mail info@tenthdivision.com with your name and size/color preference. Hoodies are available in White (pictured) and Heather Gray (chains on the Heather Gray colorway are tonal to the garment and more subtle than the gold chains on the White colorway). We can't guarantee we'll be able to satisfy all presale requests; however, the sooner you contact us, the better chance you'll have to get yours.

OK, so we're terrible about our updates, but it's only because we're putting all our work into making this brand work. Magic was a complete success. In fact, too big of a success, and well.. we've spent the last few days cutting many orders in half (sorry newbies, we'll get you straight for summer). People are telling us the spring line is the best ever, and we say wait until you see fall. It'll smash everything else we've done. It looks like 2006 is going to be our year. Special shout to all the folks who big'd us up on their post-Magic blogs. We appreciate the support. Extra special shout to The Royal Mag for their feature on Scott and the 10.Deep brand in their latest issue. You'll notice that we've included a shot of one of our spring items in the rolling images to the left. This is one of the ones accounts are fighting over. Prepare yourself, Spring 2006 is coming.

Yoooooooo! Happy New Year! So it's been a minute since our last update, but you need to know, as always, that it's been because we've been on our grind. As a result, the Spring 2006 and Summer 2006 lines are fire. We just got some of our updated promo stickers in. If you look closely you can see some of our re-worked logos. The spring line is on the way, and the response we've received from our accounts so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you. With that said, we need to make way for the new product, and have put some items on sale in the 10 Spot. Check it out here. Otherwise, stay tuned for previews of the line that we'll be posting over the coming weeks. This year's product is light years ahead of anything we've done previously.

Friend to the brand Dao-Yi Chow just passed it on to us that Takashi Murakami came through his store in Miami last weekend during the Art Bassel. Apparently, he was feeling 'Tha Deep and copped one of every style. Who knew we were high-art? Dao's store Arrive is a new hotspot down there in Miami. Definitely Luxury oriented.
